Reproducing Groups

This month has proven to be a big step in the life of our new church plant! This month we multiplied our small groups, going from one group to three. These three groups are meeting weekly in different parts of the city, serving in different capacities, and reaching out to new kinds of people in an effort to help people find their way back to God! We’re tremendously excited for the new leaders that have stepped up to take on these roles as well as their commitment to developing and equipping new leaders who will step out and do the same in the coming months.

We are still in the very beginning stages of launching this new church, however this is a huge victory for us, and a big part of our plan to serve the city of San Francisco. Thank you so much for your prayers and your financial support, they’ve enabled us to get this far and we look forward to how they will propel us into the future!

Grace & Peace,

Economic Crash in California

This past week saw new unemployment highs for the State of California into the double-digits and as a result many of the services that California residents have learned to rely upon are drying up and being cut altogether. As a result the homeless population is beginning to creep upward and many families and the elderly are left uncertain with what to do. This economic crash has provided us, as a new church plant, with a variety of opportunities for us to reach into our city of San Francisco to make a tremendous difference. We have the opportunity to really begin making change and a difference in this city in ways that we didn’t expect. However, these opportunities, if we follow hard after God’s leading, could catalyze an unprecedented movement within this city that could truly help people find their way back to God.

Would you please pray that as a launch team we would be attentive to God’s leading. That we would follow his heart and his voice into the needs of the city and that through our love, our service and our generosity, the people of San Francisco would see Jesus brightly through our deeds and service to them.

Pray it up!
