Southern Illinois Tour

The past few weeks Tracy and I have spent some time in Southern Illinois at Central Christian Church in Mt. Vernon as well as Woodlawn Christian Church in Woodlawn. We’ve been communicating and sharing the vision of the San Francisco Project with these two partner churches and their people. Every single person we’ve talked to in each church has been very encouraging and many have committed to joining our prayer team as we continue to move forward towards San Francisco!

The Drive

The drive was long, but it was exciting as each day we inched closer and closer to our new home in San Francisco! We snapped a ton of pictures as we made our way across the state of Kansas, through the Rocky Mountains, Utah and Nevada before experiencing the beauty of Lake Tahoe! We arrived safely and have been unpacking our stuff and getting settled into life in the city.

We’re looking forward to finally getting everything completely settled in and squared away and meeting tons of new people. I’m amazed at how many people you can come into contact with each and every day if you’re willing! It’s a beautiful thing and a beautiful place! The weather’s not half bad either!

I’ve put the pictures of our trip and our new apartment online and you can follow this link here to see them.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and encouragement during our trip, it was certainly exciting for us to hear your voices and receive your “Welcome to San Francisco” notes in the mail when we got here! We’re so excited to be home!

Grace & Peace,
Aaron & Tracy

Pray it up!

praises
» We arrived safely in the city, had a great trip and no surprises!
» We had a great last month in Naperville and Southern Illinois saying goodbye to friends and family.

prayer
» That we get settled quickly and easily into the city!
» For Tracy's job search. That God would open doors and provide her with the best possible job and connecting opportunities.
» For our team! That God would provide Aaron with wisdom and direction in assembling a remarkable staff team that will not only love the city, but work hard to reach the city!
» For our fundraising efforts. That God would continue to open doors and resource this new church financially so that it can truly make an impact!
