Prayer Walk Update

Last month we told you about a prayer walk that was taking place on May 30th and invited you to join with us online thanks to the wonderful technology of Google Maps. There was a tremendous outpouring of prayer both from people in the Bay Area, but also from around the country and literally around the world! We had people participating from the four corners of the United States, Canada, Australia, England and Africa. It was simply amazing. So, thank you all for participating with us! We'd actually like to see it continue, so I'm providing you with the link to the Prayer walk once again. We'll keep this up indefinitely and make changes to it periodically as our needs change. Thank you again for your prayers!

» Facilities! Please continue to pray for us as we search for and try to secure a gathering space in the city for our new church (IKON Christian Community). We're asking that God would provide us with the best possible location at the best possible price in order to free us up to do a lot of things in the city that will help people find their way back to God!

» Finances! We're continuing to raise the necessary funds for our four year budget to get us to self-sufficiency, but we also have a couple of staff members who are also working to raise a large percentage of their salaries for the next couple of years. Pray that God would open the gates and fully fund their needs as well as our needs as a new church!

» Launch Team! Ask that God would continue to bring more and more people into our launch team, that he would help us to gather individuals who want to join in the mission of helping people find their way back to God! Already God has gathered together 35 people, but we're asking for him to double our numbers so we can be more effective in serving the city before we launch on October 11th!
