40 Days of Prayer/Fasting UpdateThank you everyone who signed up and for those of you who have been praying and fasting for us during the first half of these forty days! We have already seen God open doors and bring about new networking opportunities that we hadn't seen before. For instance, just this morning Tracy made an amazing connection with her doctor who's boyfriend is the President of Kiva.org (a tremendous micro-finance organization that is located here in the city and has been featured on Oprah and other nation-wide publications.) She shared with her doctor what we are doing here in the city and there's a great budding relationship there! This past week Aaron was invited by Dr. Melissa Farley (a pre-iminent researcher who has worked with the Department of Justice) to join a small group of non-profit leaders in the city who are passionate about and making strides to curb the human trafficking/sex-trade industry in San Francisco. Sharing with Dr. Farley about what we're doing in the city has been exciting and we're also looking forward to this great budding relationship as well. Thank you so much for your prayers. As you can see God is moving and working in big ways, and this is just the beginning. Please keep us in your prayers and if you'd like to take another day or join with us in this exciting time we have 3 days that still need to be covered: December 24th, 31st and January 1st.
» Networking: Please keep praying for the right connections in the city that can help us mobilize a movement and pray for the wisdom to pursue these realtionships and opportunities in the right way. » Housing: Please keep praying for the Forsythe's and the sale of their house. Also please pray that they'll be able to find a place they can move into in the city by the end of January. (Major praise update: The Bubinak's house sold this past week!) » Momentum: Please pray that the ball of momentum that we are building will continue to grow and move forward. That we'll possess the wisdom to allow this momentum to grow and that we won't squander the opportunities in front of us! |
