Experiences
Experiences are all about expanding our personal experience of Jesus. We have several experieces and disciplines that we believe can benefit expanding your story and personal experience with Jesus. Most of the experiences are integrated into our Neighborhood Group life however, some are very personal in nature. These again are supplemental to the Large Gathering. If our Sunday Large Gathering is an Inhale these experience act to support our exhale.
Prayer and Singing Nights | These are nights we have specifically set aside to pray and sing. This is apart of group rhythm. 2012 Dates | February 8th, April 11th, June 13th, August 15th, October 17th
Send + Serve | We have set aside the last Sunday of the five Sunday months as opportunties to serve around SOMA. We have a 30 min Gathering then immediately go out and serve. You can read more on our Justice page. | January 29th, April 29th, July 29th, Septembe 30th,
Ash Wednesday + Fasting | Wednesday, February 22nd we will have an open experience from 6p - 9p. This year's experience will focus of seeing and hearing and is inspired by Sufjan Steven's album, Seven Swans. The experience will take around 45 minutes, depending on your pace. NOTE: We will also be outside this entire time, so wear a jacket. The experience will begin at Market and Church in front of the steps going up to Safeway. Upon arrival you receive a booklet but you will also need to download the following tracks onto a device to listen as you go, right click this link and save as: ALL TRACKS ZIP.
