LOVE WINS. | Hold Out Your Hand | Aaron Monts
This is the beginning of our autumn series continuing through Luke, “Love Wins.”. We begin by looking at Luke 6:1-11 and Jesus’ interaction with a man with a crippled hand. The ideas of love in our day have been twisted and melted down to chocolates and flowers and in this text we see that true love defies rules or standards set by society. By Jesus’ healing this man and restoring him physically, emotionally and spiritually we see God’s restorative nature on display. As we go about our day and look around this same restorative nature is at work. In the four seasons, in the sun/moon, in the rain, God is one who restores. So hold out your hand and experience this restoration.
